East Coast Whisky
Tales of Peat, Volume 1 - Friday 23rd September 2022
Updated: Aug 8, 2022
As we move into Autumn, so we turn our attention to the absolute joy of peated whisky. Peated whisky gathered in from around the Highland & Islands of Scotland…

These are some truly exceptional drams that East Coast Whisky has been collecting for a while. From Port Ellen to Lagavulin with a wild detour in between!! All these make for a special and already popular online whisky tasting, alongside your great company.
The Drams

1979 Port Ellen, 1973 Ledaig, East Coast Bunnahabhain Whisky, Laphroaig 32 & that Caol Ila 20…

Ardmore 32, Bunnahabhain 32, Highland Park 22, Lagavulin Prima & Ultima #1, Lagavulin 12.
Quite the line-up, you in??
The Details
The tasting will be held on ZOOM, from 7.30-10pm GMT on Friday 23rd September (If you can’t make that time, a recording will be available afterwards).
The tasting is informative, yet also informal, with everyone able to join in, and to share their whisky enthusiasm rather than their ego’s!!
The 15ml drams will be mailed to you, 1st class signed for (in a padded box) at least a week before the tasting. International shipping is available upon request. You will also receive some tasting clues, the running order, and the Zoom link in the days before the evening.
The full set is £240, this price reflects the cost of the bottles & postage/packaging & preparing the tasting, and is nowhere near what you would pay for these drams in a bar!!
You can also take a 9 dram set for £200 by subtracting a Lagavulin of your choice.
Places are limited to just 30 participants, of which there is now only 1 space remaining, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Please pay: https://www.paypal.me/ecwhisky including your name, address, & PEAT in the notes, and your LAGAVULIN choice if going for 9 drams. (Please use friends and family if possible).
You can also pay by bank transfer, contact me for the details.
Then, if this is your first East Coast Whisky tasting, please also email your name, address, & contact telephone number to dram@eastcoastwhisky.com
So excited to present these excellent bottles to you, it is not surprising that many of the places have already gone throught the "This is East Coast Whisky" WhatsApp group. Let me know if you would like to join. Looking forward to seeing you for our first Autumn 2022 tasting, a perfect warm up for the Brora/Dornoch trip a couple of weeks later.
Cheers,
Frederick Maitland
